How to choose a spare part
Spare parts are numbered in the form - Product name # number. The number after the # grid indicates the part of a specific spare part. Especially for rods, the smallest number #1 is the tip, and the largest is the handle. The handle will be marked as #2 for the two part rod. For three part rod the handle will be marked as #3, because #2 is the middle part. The exceptions are feeder rods, where the tip is not the spare part itself, and the mark #1 represents the uppermost part of the blank itself - the part where the feeder tips are inserted. It is a new version of a very successful series of free run spool reels PACIFIC. Nylon-composite body of the reel makes it much stronger which can be noticed immediately after grasping it. Massive, 4 mm bigger, gear wheels ensure smooth and very quiet run of the whole reel. PACIFIC 2 is fitted with 7 bearings + one-way bearing for immediate stopping of the backward running of the handle. Front brake system is built on the combination of felt and metal washers which guarantee its smooth setting. The diameter of washers was made bigger to 24 mm which significantly increased the effect of the braking force. A new mechanism of the bail´s holder allows much smoother tilting of the bail by the means of the reel´s handle. The usage of all-metal hinged handle makes it adjustable to right hander as well as to left hander. Stronger mechanism of free run spool system bail prolongs its durability significantly. It comes in the package with two spare, light-weighted, aluminium spools.
