How to choose a spare part
Spare parts are numbered in the form - Product name # number. The number after the # grid indicates the part of a specific spare part. Especially for rods, the smallest number #1 is the tip, and the largest is the handle. The handle will be marked as #2 for the two part rod. For three part rod the handle will be marked as #3, because #2 is the middle part. The exceptions are feeder rods, where the tip is not the spare part itself, and the mark #1 represents the uppermost part of the blank itself - the part where the feeder tips are inserted. Felt mats that are usually used together with the size of the reel (60 tube) can make around 9 kg of braking force compared to unbelievable 15kg when using carbon mats. Apart from its enormous force, thanks to carbon pads the brake doesn´t stick in rainy weather or when getting wet, not even in the most extreme conditions, which offers higher comfort that you were used to. And there are still some more advantages of Chimera that must be mentioned. Its another advantage is also fast reeling of the fishing line – one turn of the handle means 5,5 turns of the rotor. The package includes additional tube with carbon pads, ergonomic all-metal handle as well as protective textile cover designed for safer transport. Excellent design which perfectly fits with any type of a blank is only a bonus in the eyes of the anglers. Approximate weight of size 40 (suitable for feeder) is 420 grams, size 60 is app. 470 grams.
