How to choose a spare part
Spare parts are numbered in the form - Product name # number. The number after the # grid indicates the part of a specific spare part. Especially for rods, the smallest number #1 is the tip, and the largest is the handle. The handle will be marked as #2 for the two part rod. For three part rod the handle will be marked as #3, because #2 is the middle part. The exceptions are feeder rods, where the tip is not the spare part itself, and the mark #1 represents the uppermost part of the blank itself - the part where the feeder tips are inserted. A bite indicator like no other, with a built-in LED diode and ingenious features that place this model one step ahead of others in its category.
The head part is designed in a unique form that sets it apart from other models available on the market. The name TRYO is derived from this triangular shape. It features a ball line clip to adjust the tension via a small knob. This mechanism consists of small balls, minimizing the friction surface when the fish bites the line. The head is made of hardened matte plastic for increased durability against mechanical damage.
The body of this bite indicator was completely redesigned and fitted with two new features. This concept was made entirely by Delphin development engineers.
The first one called CABLE MANAGER is made of small notches on the sides to keep your cable in place during transport. This way, it won’t get tangled with other items from your tackle.
The second feature is a groove called ARM STOPPER. Besides holding the lower part of the bite indicator, it has two important functions. It can secure the main body so that these two parts hold together firmly, and it can stop the bait indicator from swinging from side to side much more quickly.
This means that when you lift the rod and the line gets released from the head part, TRYO will swiftly stop in hanging position. Usually, it takes only three to four swings. When comparing this product with other bite indicators you were using, it offers a lot more durability, especially in plastic parts and the joint that connects it to the main body.
For better line tension, it also has a sliding counterweight. Delphin TRYO is fitted with an electronic bite alarm connector. After plugging it in, the LED diode will light up with a dim light (according to the head colour) that allows to see the bite indication at night. As a bonus and in case of loss, this product includes spare tags fixing it to the electronic bite alarm.
