How to choose a spare part
Spare parts are numbered in the form - Product name # number. The number after the # grid indicates the part of a specific spare part. Especially for rods, the smallest number #1 is the tip, and the largest is the handle. The handle will be marked as #2 for the two part rod. For three part rod the handle will be marked as #3, because #2 is the middle part. The exceptions are feeder rods, where the tip is not the spare part itself, and the mark #1 represents the uppermost part of the blank itself - the part where the feeder tips are inserted. The signal between the bite alarms and the receiver can reach up to 110 metres in ideal conditions. The whole set comes in a hard plastic case to protect it during transport. In addition, the set is waterproof, and the plastic is resistant to mechanical damage.
The bite alarm itself is powered by a long-lasting 12V battery type 23A. Turn it ON/OFF by holding the button for two seconds. After turning it on, the coloured LED diode will flash 3 times, when turning it off, it will flash once. When the device is turned on, you can choose one of the 5 volume settings, including the silent mode. The LED diode will light up for 10 seconds after each bite.
The receiver receives the signal and indicates it with sound, light, and (if you choose this option) also with vibrations. With a V button, select one of the 7 volume settings, including the silent mode. To turn on the vibration mode, hold the V button for 2 seconds.
The receiver has four coloured LED diodes that flash for 10 seconds after a bite. It s powered by 3 AAA 1.5V batteries. The receiver and bite alarms can store all the settings in their memory. The receiver comes with a practical strap.
