The third generation of a very successful catfish rod HAZARD comes in an elegant dark design with a fitting name Darx. This rod has been developed with a single purpose—to offer absolute certainty during difficult fights with the largest catfish. It’s convenient for release rig fishing while using a buoy or an underwater float where you need extreme durability and uncompromising blank strength.

The powerful and durable blank is built on a well-known 24T carbon that can withstand even extreme overcharge in difficult conditions. Still, it remains very lightweight, which is a plus when you fight a fish for a long time. The rod HAZARD Darx is fitted with guides without inserts that were designed for increased durability against extreme pressure and mechanical damage, which is key for catfish fishing. The most stressed parts of the rod were designed to last. That’s why the ferrules are equipped with two metal rings that reinforce the structure and protect the blank against damage even when it’s bent to the max. Plus, the ferrule is reinforced with an extra carbon layer with a special braided wrap?

The power of the rod lies also in a sturdy metal reel seat. Two metal nuts inside guarantee that it’ll always stay in place. For overall comfort during difficult fish fights, the handle is made from EVA foam and ergonomically shaped, and fitted with a fighting belt adaptor. The length of the handle creates a necessary lever and stability for fighting the giant of our waters.
