How to choose a spare part
Spare parts are numbered in the form - Product name # number. The number after the # grid indicates the part of a specific spare part. Especially for rods, the smallest number #1 is the tip, and the largest is the handle. The handle will be marked as #2 for the two part rod. For three part rod the handle will be marked as #3, because #2 is the middle part. The exceptions are feeder rods, where the tip is not the spare part itself, and the mark #1 represents the uppermost part of the blank itself - the part where the feeder tips are inserted. LARVO is a unique model of soft lure by Delphin that was inspired by a very popular model called BUGO. However, LARVO is only 3 cm long–a perfect length to imitate insect, creating a secret weapon for ultralight spin fishing. The goal was to create a smaller lure that will work well when the fish are more cautious or at times when they prefer to feed on smaller insect larvae.
A unique floating material Flexifloat was used to make these lures; it’s very flexible and malleable. This way, the lure becomes irresistible to fish.
When developing this lure, we drew inspiration from the natural diet of predatory fish—in this case, wasp larvae. Our designers paid particular attention to details such as eyes or budding wings. Because of the material used, the lure has two useful features. The first is the flexibility of the material that prevents it from getting damaged even after multiple bites and several caught fish. The other feature is the aroma absorption. This way, especially when fishing for trout, the fish will attack the lure repeatedly. When squeezed, the lure releases a strong, cheesy aroma that incites another bite.
LARVO offers a wide range of the most efficient colours that were picked on the basis of long-term tests on various bodies of water. Plus, they are UV active to reflect the sunlight underwater and make them really striking even in deep waters or when it’s overcast. A wider body in combination with floating material causes the lure to descend slowly in the water column. The lure LARVO can be used with micro jigs or with a tungsten jig head mounted on a jig.
