How to choose a spare part
Spare parts are numbered in the form - Product name # number. The number after the # grid indicates the part of a specific spare part. Especially for rods, the smallest number #1 is the tip, and the largest is the handle. The handle will be marked as #2 for the two part rod. For three part rod the handle will be marked as #3, because #2 is the middle part. The exceptions are feeder rods, where the tip is not the spare part itself, and the mark #1 represents the uppermost part of the blank itself - the part where the feeder tips are inserted. Rodpod RPX ProSTALX BlackWay has excellent features of its predecessors, but it takes things to the next level. This innovative metal rodpod is designed for 2 rods and combines compact size, great stability, and new technical features you’ll appreciate since the first use.
The design will catch your eye with milled details and black matte colour, typical for the BlackWay series. This design is not merely aesthetic, it also showcases meticulously crafted details. The surface treatment of the product combines sanding technologies and aluminium oxidation that results in matte surface with long durability.
The entire structure and the materials used minimise the risk of mechanical wear, and the details made with precision ensure all components fit together perfectly. The large leg junction ensures stability and durability in the most extreme conditions. The legs are telescopic, and their reliable locking mechanism prevents them from retracting, even when fully loaded.
The buzz bars have undergone some major changes that push the RPX ProSTALX to the whole new level. Both buzz bars are telescopic, so you can adjust their width according to the size of your reels. This way, you can place the rods with tips pointing slightly away from each other. The lower part of the buzz bar is cut flush, which means the locking screw fixes them in a reliable way without any give.
The front buzz bar is also equipped with magnetic quick-release connectors featuring a universal thread. They facilitate manipulation, since the bite alarms can be left screwed in the thread and quickly pulled out of the buzz bar when needed. This set includes two buzz bars designed to hold two rods, and adjusting their height takes just a few seconds thanks to the locking screws.
One of the main advantages of RPX ProSTALX is its very compact size. When folded, it takes up very little space, which makes it much easier to transport. That’s a feature particularly handy for anglers who often move around by the water or want to keep their tackle to an absolute minimum.
