Delphin DETEX is a premium set of electronic bite alarms with a receiver, designed from the ground up by Delphin’s team of developers and designers. The final product was the result of many hours of modelling, testing, consultation, and the gradual fine-tuning of individual details. This process was repeated until we were satisfied with every element, resulting in a product known as DETEX.

Unique design, reliable electronics, and a wide range of practical features hidden in a durable body made from ABS plastic make a perfectly working whole. The result is DETEX – the flagship model among Delphin’s bite alarms.

The Delphin DETEX catches the eye at first glance with its original design, created entirely by Delphin. It features all the key characteristics and functions required for modern carp fishing. At its core is a reliable audible and visual bite indicator, featuring the option to adjust the tone, sensitivity, and volume. A major advantage is the ability to change the colour of the diodes simply by pressing a button on the side of the bite alarm. It also goes without saying that it offers high resistance to water, adverse weather conditions, and mechanical damage. Both the alarms and the receiver are powered by AAA batteries. Thanks to its innovative technology and low energy consumption, the DETEX set halds an exceptionally long battery life.

The three rotary switches on the alarm allow you to adjust six volume levels, including silent mode, five different tones, and five sensitivity levels. You can easily switch between day and night mode or switch the device off using the toggle switch. Once night mode is activated, the night light diode remains on.

The selected settings remain stored in the memory, so when the alarm is switched on again, it is ready to operate exactly as you are used to.
It also features a reverse bite detection function. In case of a reverse bite, it alerts you with a different tone, allowing you to immediately distinguish the nature of the bite. The bite indicator remains lit for further 20 seconds after a bite, helping you to identify which rod has registered it. The pack includes snag ears, which can be screwed directly onto the body of the bite alarm. They prevent the rod from slipping out of the bite alarm sideways when there is a sudden bite. The area where the rod meets the bite alarm is rubber-coated to protect the rod from scratches and prevents it from slipping. The mounting thread is fitted with a lock nut to secure the bite alarm in the desired position. The extensive range of features is complemented by a 2.5 mm connector for attaching a bite indicator light.

The receiver keeps you in touch with your rods at a distance of up to 150 metres, depending on the terrain, and allows you to pair up to six bite alarms. It syncs the tone of the paired bite alarm and offers 6 different volume settings including silent mode. If you prefer a discreet notification, you’ll definitely appreciate the vibration mode. In case of a reverse bite, the receiver and the bite alarms feature a different audio and visual signalling. Plus, the memory diode lights up 20 seconds after a bite. In addition, you can light up the diode of the bite alarm that registered a bite once again with a press of a button. The cord supplied with the product also makes the receiver comfortable to wear, ensuring you always have it close by.

When fishing at night, you’ll certainly appreciate the integrated bivvy light on the receiver, designed to provide short-time lighting. You can switch it on manually or set it to switch on automatically after a bite. There are four light duration settings to choose from, allowing you to adjust the lighting to suit your needs and find your way around the bivvy more easily.

Each bite alarm an receiver are powered by three AAA batteries. Low battery level in indicated by an audio signal. The range-testing function allows you to check the connection directly at your fishing spot and choose where to place your receiver to always stay within reach.
