How to choose a spare part
Spare parts are numbered in the form - Product name # number. The number after the # grid indicates the part of a specific spare part. Especially for rods, the smallest number #1 is the tip, and the largest is the handle. The handle will be marked as #2 for the two part rod. For three part rod the handle will be marked as #3, because #2 is the middle part. The exceptions are feeder rods, where the tip is not the spare part itself, and the mark #1 represents the uppermost part of the blank itself - the part where the feeder tips are inserted. Delphin TEX1 is a premium electronic bite alarm, designed from the ground up by Delphin’s team of developers and designers. The final product was the result of many hours of modelling, testing, consultation, and the gradual fine-tuning of individual details. This process was repeated until we were satisfied with every element, resulting in a bite alarm that represents a flagship among our Delphin bite alarm range.
Unique design, reliable electronics, and a wide range of practical features hidden in a durable body made from ABS plastic make a perfectly working whole. TEX1 features all the key characteristics and functions required for modern carp fishing. At its core is a reliable audible and visual bite indication, featuring many practical functions. It also goes without saying that it offers high resistance to water, adverse weather conditions, and mechanical damage.
The three rotary switches allow you to adjust six volume levels, including silent mode, five different tones, and five sensitivity levels. A major advantage is the ability to select among 7 bite alarm diode colours by pressing the button on the side. The colour of the night diode automatically adjusts to match the selected colour, allowing you to easily customise the lighting to suit your own preferences.
You can easily switch between day and night mode or switch the device off using the toggle switch. Once night mode is activated, the night light diode remains on, so you can easily spot your rods when it’s dark. The selected settings remain stored in the memory, so when the TEX1 is switched on again, it is ready to operate exactly as you are used to.
It also features a reverse bite detection function. In case of a reverse bite, it alerts you with a different tone, allowing you to immediately distinguish the nature of the bite. The bite indicator remains lit for further 20 seconds after a bite, helping you to identify which rod has registered it.
The pack includes snag gears, which can be screwed directly onto the body of the bite alarm. They prevent the rod from slipping out of the bite alarm sideways when there is a sudden bite. The area where the rod meets the bite alarm is rubber-coated to protect the rod from scratches and prevents it from slipping. The mounting thread is fitted with a lock nut to secure the bite alarm in the desired position. The bite alarm’s extensive range of features is complemented by a 2.5 mm connector for attaching a bite indicator light.
